Cancer fund

Thank you for wanting to learn more about our Cancer fund.  All funds raised help Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust’s Cancer Services department to support patients with cancer.  This fund is intended to further improve the quality of patient care, by raising funds to purchase medical equipment, improve facilities and by directly enhancing the experiences of patients.

Mr Liviu Titu - Consultant Colorectal Surgeon is one of our Cancer fund Charity Champions along with Dawn Miller - Lead Cancer Nurse and Lyndsay Gorman - Cancer Manager.

Mr Titu said

“I am thrilled to be the Champion for the Cancer fund.  Any money donated will be used to directly improve patients’ care and make a significant contribution to their journey at a challenging time in their lives.”
