Sharon's story

Sharon Leather is a Gynae Cancer Care Coordinator based at Arrowe Park Hospital. In January 2019 she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and received treatment from the Breast Care team at Clatterbridge hospital. Her friends decided to raise money to support Sharon through her treatment by taking part in the 24hour Conti Thunder Run by running as many laps around Catton Park in Derbyshire as possible.  The event was a huge success with the team raising over £1,600 for the Breast Fund.

If you would like to learn more about how you can support the Breast Care fund contact us on 0151 482 7788 or email wuth.charity@nhs.net.
